If your business isn’t thriving it might be because you’re too professional. Yeah, you can be too professional and not human enough. Listen to the post below and you’ll hear what I mean.
1. Humans use names, businesses don’t.
2. Humans can be trusted, businesses are too large to be trusted.
3. Humans can make mistakes and people will forgive, when you’re a business people want their money back.
4. Humans build long term relationships that aren’t based on price alone.
5. Humans connect on an emotional level, businesses don’t have emotions.
Do you agree with my five reasons to be human? Do you have any examples of this being true in your experience in business? Tell me in the comments section below so I know if I’m crazy or right.

Not sure if you're talking about a situation where I was looking at some office space and the owner didn't stand to great my wife and kids or not...but that's the one that comes to mind. THe office has SMALL and the guy BLEW IT by not giving my wife the respect she deserves by standing to greet her. Glad you're digging our stuff Jack. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with oK?
I like jeans too. I'll wear them tomorrow in a sign of solidarity with you
(and because they're comfortable).
Andy,
My business is built around me being me. I have spent most of my working career in the white collar working environment and I am a blue collar guy. I just don't fit in. So to remedy that I want to have a business I am comfortable in and yes that includes me wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt with I work with clients.

How can I help?

Andy, Tony from Chef tonys was the 1 that turned me on to your show, and the comment about about them standing to great your wife and Kids, thats a tough one,as how big is the office complex? Ive owned a welding and Fab Co for 36years,and the last 3 have been the worst! plus im in Ct, the co is 108 years Old,and they know ME!!! But if its a giant office complex.like you see advertized on tv, Thats a little over the Line ,IMO! Did it have everthing else,, I go to alot of customers,(well i did,Before Ct became the capital of chasing them all out,and Im talking fortune 100 co's. I cant remember the last time I was greeted! Just saying,,Thanks, and Hope ya catch my drift,,Jack Connors,,Great show, glad I found it!!!! Thanks Again!,Jack
