What to do with your heroes

  • Follow people you idolize by reading and listening to their content repeatedly
  • Create your own content even if you think it stinks, it probably does for now but it won’t get better till you create more
  • Offer help to as many people as you can as often as you can
  • Ask your heroes for advice and don’t make it difficult for them to give it to you
  • Focus on doing your thing well and if you don’t know what you do well then start trying stuff now

Great ideas.  I especially like the 2nd one "Create your own content even if you think it stinks"  That is where I am now.  The more you write, the better you get.  It helps to get feedback, but just generating the content helps.  Another way to get better is to get inspiration from the people you look up to (1st one)  Even Michelangelo copied the early work of masters to learn his craft

Thanks for the suggestions.  I read just about everything from Seth Godin I can get my hands on and I will be following Chris Guillebeau and Michael Hyatt.  I am in the process of starting a laser engraving business.  Who knew the road to being remarkable was this fun.
